AI Frame Interpolation Online with Practical-RIFE
Run AI frame interpolation in your browser: after super-resolution rebuilds spatial detail, Practical-RIFE 4.26 estimates bidirectional optical flow between consecutive frames and synthesizes 2×, 4× or 8× intermediate frames for fluid playback up to 120fps or butter-smooth slow motion.

Video frame interpolation for 60fps, 120fps and slow motion
24fps & 30fps to smooth motion
Standard phone and cinema clips judder on high-refresh screens. Optical-flow synthesis doubles or quadruples the cadence.
Optical-flow slow-mo replay
Instead of duplicating frames, RIFE synthesis generates true in-between positions for 2×, 4× or 8× slow-mo playback.
Drone & aerial pans
Wide landscape pans stutter at 24fps. AI motion synthesis makes buildings and coastlines glide smoothly.
Anime & 2D animation
Hand-drawn animation on twos or threes gains fluid motion when paired with the Anime engine and RIFE pass.
Water, spray & particles
Complex motion where simple frame blending ghosts; optical-flow warping tracks droplets cleanly.
Wildlife & fast wings
Capture every wingbeat at reduced speed by running 4× or 8× motion synthesis after 4K upscaling.
RIFE frame interpolation: multipliers, limits and pricing
Practical-RIFE 4.26 runs on cloud GPUs right after FlashVSR or Anime super-resolution.
| Interpolation model | Practical-RIFE 4.26 bidirectional optical-flow synthesis |
|---|---|
| Multipliers | 2× (default on this page), 4× or 8× |
| Playback cap | Up to 120fps in normal playback; slow-mo keeps the source fps and stretches duration by N× |
| Duration limit | Source seconds × multiplier ≤ 1200 (e.g. up to 10 min at 2×, 5 min at 4×, 150s at 8×) |
| Audio behavior | Kept in sync for normal fps boost; omitted in slow-motion mode |
| Output resolution | 1080P, 2K (1440p) or 4K (2160p) |
| Price | 1 credit/s at 1080P, 2 at 2K, 3 at 4K (billed on source seconds, no multiplier surcharge) |
| New accounts | 10 credits on sign-up; preview output carries a small watermark until purchase |
| Input formats | MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, M4V up to 500 MB |
How to run AI frame interpolation in 3 steps
Generate real intermediate frames and upscale resolution in a single cloud job.
1. Upload your video.
Drop in an MP4, MOV, MKV or WebM clip. On this page 2× RIFE synthesis is pre-selected automatically.
Get started2. Pick multiplier & slow-motion mode.
Keep 2× for 60fps playback, choose 4×/8× for higher rates, or check Slow Motion to stretch the clip length.
3. Compare and download.
Preview the high-frame-rate output in your browser and download the finished MP4.
Where optical-flow synthesis has limits
Try it with your videoInstant scene cuts
Hard cuts and flash frames have no continuous motion between them, so surrounding frames may show brief morphing.
Severe occlusion & strobe light
Objects passing rapidly behind fences or under strobe lighting can challenge optical-flow estimation.
120fps playback ceiling
For standard playback, output rate caps at 120fps so browsers and hardware decoders play the file smoothly.
Slow-motion audio
When Slow Motion is checked, the output duration multiplies by 2×/4×/8× and the audio track is omitted.
Why Practical-RIFE synthesis beats frame blending
Basic editors stretch frame rates by duplicating frames or cross-dissolving neighbors, which leaves a ghosted double image. Practical-RIFE frame interpolation computes motion vectors across the scene and warps pixels along their true trajectory.
Process my video nowTrue intermediate frames.
Objects move to their mid-point position instead of fading in place.
Runs after super-resolution.
Interpolating clean upscaled frames avoids warping compression artifacts.
Up to 8× slow motion.
Turn a 30fps action clip into an 8× slow-motion replay.
No extra credit surcharge.
You pay only for the source seconds at 1080P, 2K or 4K.
Good to know:
Billed on source length
A 10s clip at 2× or 4× still costs 10/20/30 credits for 1080P/2K/4K.
Pairs with Anime & Face Recovery
Combine RIFE with the Anime model, Stabilize or GFPGAN face recovery.
Automatic refunds
Failed cloud jobs refund credits to your balance automatically.
Sharp 4K super-resolution + RIFE motion synthesis
Every job on this page runs super-resolution first and RIFE frame interpolation second, delivering both higher pixel density and smoother motion.

Frame interpolation FAQ: RIFE 4.26, slow motion and pricing
It uses an optical-flow neural network (Practical-RIFE 4.26) to analyze two consecutive frames and synthesize new frames between them, multiplying frame rate by 2×, 4× or 8×.
No. Credits are charged on the source duration and output resolution (1 credit/s at 1080P, 2 at 2K, 3 at 4K), regardless of whether you select 2×, 4× or 8×.
Source seconds multiplied by the interpolation factor must stay at or below 1200 seconds: up to 10 minutes at 2×, 5 minutes at 4×, or 150 seconds at 8×.
Normal mode increases the playback frame rate (up to 120fps) while keeping the original duration and audio. Slow Motion mode keeps the source frame rate, makes the clip 2×, 4× or 8× longer, and omits audio.
In normal playback mode, output is capped at 120fps, so a 60fps clip is automatically adjusted to 2× (120fps). In Slow Motion mode, the full 4× multiplier is applied.
